tree as an example of MF desire to plant in exchange for purchase

Modern Failure is fully committed to repairing the environment and will endeavour to plant one tree sapling for every purchase of our solution No 1, carried out through the National trust tree program. We will issue a digital certificate once the tree has been planted.  A recent study made by Warwickshire university has discovered that the insect population living on a mature tree is responsible for absorbing enormous amounts of methane. This fact combined with the absorption of Co2, the production of oxygen (a mature tree will produce 274 litres of oxygen per day) , the habitat afforded to birds as well as the benefit of absorbing water (reducing floods) and the sheer beauty of the tree in our landscape is why we need to be planting more trees.

"The secret of happiness you see is not found in seeking more, but in developing the capacity to enjoy less."

If I were asked to characterise the present state of affairs, I would describe it as ‘after the orgy’.
The orgy in question was the moment when modernity exploded upon us, the moment of liberation in every sphere. Political liberation, sexual liberation, liberation of the forces of production, liberation of the forces of mass destruction, women’s liberation, liberation of unconscious drives, liberation of art.
